If your navigation system is not responding properly to inputs, Touch Screen may need a recalibration. You can do it by following these steps:
- Download the following archive. ZIP and extract the file "calibrate.exe"
- Connect the navigator to the PC via the USB cable and switch it on.
- The computer may have to be rebooted due to the installation of the drivers: just do it.
- Two removable disks will be detected and shown into the "My computer" folder: one is related to the Flash Memory (the internal PND memory), the other to the SDCard (the removable memory of PND).
- Open the Flash memory removable disk: you will find the "NNG" folder containing "amigo.exe".
- Rename amigo.exe in "amigo11.exe" to avoid damaging the proper navigator behaviours.
- Copy "calibrate.exe" into the "NNG" folder and rename it to "amigo.exe".
- Disconnect tfunhe PND and unplug the USB cable.
- By restarting the PND via the "Reset" button positioned at the rear of the device, the calibration will start automatically.
- The display will show a cross cursor in various positions: use the supplied stylus to touch the screen in the position of the cursor, making sure to be as accurated as possible.
- At the end of the previous operation, confirm the calibration by touching the screen at any point within ten seconds.
- Reconnect the navigator to your PC, access the Flash Memory and the folder "NNG".
- Remove the file "amigo.exe" and then rename the file "amigo11.exe" to "amigo.exe".
- Unplug the PND and restart it again.
It is recommended to accurately follow these steps in order to not compromise the functionality of the navigator and invalidate the warranty.
